What does the resurrection mean to me? When I was six years old I confessed that I was a sinner and that I believe Jesus died and rose again. For the last 26 years I’ve done my best to serve Him. It doesn’t mean my life is easier than others, but it does mean that I have Hope! Plus, when challenges come I can follow the principles I’ve learned in the Bible. I trust that He has a plan. My testimony isn’t one of an alcoholic or drug addict; I had those choices and by His grace I choose the more narrow route. Whatever your past, He can be your Savior today.
Lately my 5 year old has been asking a lot of questions about Jesus. Thankfully I can answer most of them, but sometimes there just aren’t “logical” answers. It all comes down to faith. I choose to believe He died on a cross, rose again, and one day I will join Him in heaven. It really is that simple.
This blog is about “practical tools” to make life easier. The best tool of all is to have Jesus in your life. Not just church, religion, or a bunch of rules. If you want to hear how to make Him a real part of your life then shoot me an email. I’d love to hear from you! You can also hear today’s Easter message from my pastor by clicking here.
God Bless You!
