I think my shopping trip for Week 1 of the Pantry Challenge was good. $16.19 Total. I must hang my head in embarrassment as I share the photo. Which of these things don’t belong?
I KNOW! The off brand of Fruit Loops do not go with our intentional eating OR the dairy/produce guidelines for the pantry challenge. But, when the 100th day of school comes and you’ve been assigned Fruit Loops what’s a mom to do? I was going to send in Cheerios instead until my sister scolded me. She said my son would be embarrassed when he didn’t bring in his assigned food. I remember so many embarrassing moments of school (being sent to the library during sex education ranks high on the list) so I bought the silly cereal.
Skim Milk $2.69 X 2
