If you’ve been following my blog for some time you know that I love iAnything. This includes my iPhone, iMac, and the recent addition of my iPad. I use the iPad to bring the Ultimate Savings Workshop presentation directly to you, to watch TV, and recently I’ve been interested in how it can help me get my boys ready for back to school.
After researching MANY education apps (and trying a few that were less than stellar) I found the TeachMe series. The iPhone/iPad apps TeachMe: Toddler, TeachMe: Kindergarten, and TeachMe: 1st Grade ($.99 each) are featured in iPad’s Education Top 10. After reading the rave reviews I quickly bought the TeachMe: Toddler for my 4 year old and TeachMe: 1st Grade for my 6.5 year old.
The real test came when I let the boys try it out. The apps are so easy and fun to use that they didn’t even realize they were learning. The rewards systems (stickers for the Toddler and coins for the 1st Grade) kept them so motivated that I had to set time limits or they’d play all day! I knew it was a winner when they asked to play the next day.
Today I contacted customer service with a question and they responded with a personal email the same day! A great app and great customer service, too? Yup. I went on to tell them how much I enjoyed that app and 24X7digital (the company that created the app) offered to do a giveaway for YOU!

Would certainly use TeachMe: 1st grade for my almost 6 yr old. He really loves his dad’s iPad . . . the challenge would be setting time limits!

I would LOVE the Toddler App AND the First Grade App and I’m sure the K App next year! I’m always looking for good iApps because I do not let them play with my ipad right now unless its netflix which is much too addicting as well. Hope I can check these out for free!
